和田玉皮色的形成:

1、河里本来不产玉,山脉才产玉,而且玉也是被岩质石头包裹的,不会赤裸裸表露在自然界中。山上的玉矿由于地质作用滚动到了河里,又从河流的上游滚动到下游,就这样,被石头包裹的玉在不断滚动过程中被碰撞、被磨损、被消磨,最后比石头坚硬的玉就赤裸裸地“躺”在了河床上。

 

2、“脱”了又“躺”着的玉,在自然环境的作用下,无论什么颜色的玉在表皮上都多多少少有颜色产生,入侵到玉的表面。而这些颜色就是人们十分欢喜的“皮”了。

 

接着,咱们再来说说和田玉的肉。

通过了解皮的形成,容易知道,如果一块玉的肉质细腻、浑厚,那么它就比较难被大自然染色了,因为染色因子需要附着在肉质松的地方才能进去玉的表面。所以说,玩肉的缺陷就是对皮色的要求不能太高了。

 

当然,自然界中也的确存在肉质浑厚细腻,表面皮色又均匀、赏心悦目的原石,但是数量极少。因为肉质再细紧也好,只要被“侵蚀”的时间够长,迟早会产生成型的皮色,而且皮色会很漂亮!
